Imagine you are a product, then your resume is your advertisement. This announcement should cause consumers (recruiter) to buy it (call for interview), of course not forget the ethics: use only truthful information.

Tip 1 - The main thing is you

Leave your name in evidence in the header with a larger font than the other data.

• Full name (in focus)
• Marital Status and Number of Children (if)
• Age (not birth date)

Expectations

But this solution is used resources (processing, memory, etc.) to my desktop, and also consumes energy, finally, that wave of virtualization and green computing, this is not the best way.
